Free wifi for your home office in the countryside! Freedom with your own separate entrance to the street. With fresh air and a view of nature. Vacation + work - that doesn't have to be a contradiction. And in the background? Your content, your music from your smartphone simply listen via Bluetooth our sound system BOSE Mini II, in the vacation home. You have two domiciles to choose from:

• The Guest House: vacation home in the outbuilding with 80 sqm on two floors, up to 4 people, 1 large bedroom with double bed + workplace, 1 smaller room with 2 single beds, extra bed for 5th person possible. On the ground floor 35 m² living/living to enjoy, read, cook, concentrate on listening or work - table with 180 cm x 85 cm. In front of the guest house on 3 sides each a furnished seating. We are happy to provide the barbecue

• The Maisonette Vacation Apartment on the 1st floor of the country house Arcadia: living area 66 sqm, 2 levels, up to 4 persons, 1 bedroom with double bed, the sleeping gallery with 2 movable single beds. As in the guest house, spacious in many functions to enjoy or work. Freedom with its own separate entrance, and its own furnished terrace for morning and evening sun! We are happy to provide the barbecue.

Sustainability was our goal: kitchen appliances in stainless steel without Teflon, no microwave, exhaust hood with real exhaust air, latest appliances for cooling and dishwashing. Full equipment for cooking enthusiasts. Windows with us, all wooden with thermal glass + tilt function. Underfloor heating in low temperature, energy with gas/solar, external walls and roof only real clay tiles, insulation only mineral. Floors original natural stone from Solnhofen/Bavaria on the ground floor, stairs and plank parquet on the upper floor of oak, oiled only. Practical, easy to maintain, sustainable. And on the walls? Natural colors and pictures in the original, Anette Hollmann works with art + healing art.

And outside - wooden trellises everywhere for the roses, they love the sun just as much as the lavender in front. Our country house Arcadia is located in a quiet cul-de-sac between the listed village of Paretz on the Havel and the former farm, the Paretzhof. Between 2012 and 2019, we constructed the main building oriented to the timeless design principles of David Gilly, the early classicist master builder of King Frederick William III and his beloved wife Luise. In their order the place Paretz was created in 1797. In the dead end - the historical hollow way - we offer the 2 living possibilities for guests looking for rest in nature - and perhaps also to concentrate on the essentials.

Prices: Our prices include bed linen + towels for basic occupancy with 2 persons. For additional adult guests we charge  20 euros per person/night linen set included. Tourist information, bike and boat rental, shopping with Edeka, Netto, Lidl only 2 km away. Gastronomic offers start already in the "Gothic House", 10 minutes walk, additionally wonderful also at the Havel ferry as well as at the market place of Ketzin.

You will find peace in the countryside, grasses and foliage in the wind, in the nearby biotope. Cooking must be a pleasure. Airy living-cooking-dining-music-reading room in both apartments, simply feel good. With Paretz on the Havel we have found a historic place. It is a member of the "Historic Town Centers" circle. Here, at first glance, time seems to have stood still; embedded in the original Havel landscape with an incredible light. In this landscape we encounter flocks of wild geese and cranes. Nevertheless - by car to the metropolitan region of Berlin / Potsdam in only 30 to 40 minutes. Logistics: only 7 minutes walk to the bus / public transport, then in up to 60 minutes you can already reach the fast train "ICE" from Berlin Spandau as well as the main train station Berlin.

Airport Berlin: BER in Schönefeld in 60 min, for a flat fee we also offer an affordable shuttle service.
